What did you do before starting our course?

I have always been moving through the world of online marketing. I went to live in Australia for some time, but I decided to come back to Spain to continue some personal projects.

What motivated you to start coding?

Before starting the course, I already had some experience with coding but more with platforms like WordPress. I saw the opportunity to improve other areas and thought this was the ideal moment to expand my skills.

How did you hear about Ubiqum and why did you decide to sign up?

I first heard about Ubiqum from a friend who passed along the information through Facebook.

What did you find the most difficult during the course?

What I found the most difficult during the course was starting to familiarize myself with JavaScript coding and learning how to code through self-teaching.

Do you think our methodology works?

Yes, completely. It’s definitely hard -- especially when you start and need someone to teach you the basics -- but for a three-month course, the students come out of it well-prepared. Classmates that didn’t know anything about HTML can now code web pages by themselves.

Why would you recommend Ubiqum?

I would recommend it to someone who wants to learn how to code in a relatively short amount of time. You have to put a lot into it, but if you dedicate yourself you can come out of it ready to start working in technology.

What are your plans after you finish your course at Ubiqum?

Before, I wanted to do freelance projects in online marketing, but now I want to start my own entrepreneurial project.

What advice would you give someone who’s thinking about changing careers?

The most important thing is to be passionate about coding. That is what will most help to stay motivated once you decide to go that route.

Did you have any doubts before signing up for the course? How do you feel now?

Before starting the course, I had some knowledge and experience with HTML, but my goal was always to improve these skills. Now I’m very happy to have done this course and to have learned new things in just three months.

How would you describe your Ubiqum experience?

My Ubiqum experience has been very good. The mentors have given me all the support I needed to develop my coding skills, which has opened up many job opportunities in a sector that is in high demand and will continue to grow.
